Founded by Leyla Steele in 2009, Leyla Steele Real Estate started at Goodacre Properties and later moved to Pedal to Properties, simply because Leyla did actually pedal to properties, primarily luxury properties, and wanted to support this ideal. In 2011, when Boulder was still recovering from the mortgage crisis, Leyla sold the two most expensive homes in Boulder, both in Carolyn Heights. This cemented Leyla’s reputation as a luxury specialist and later that year, she invited Zach Zeldner, also at Pedal to Properties, to join her team. They moved to Re/Max Alliance on Walnut and grew Leyla Steele Real Estate, morphing into Boulder Luxury Group and leading the market in the sale of luxury properties. Leyla took a break in 2018 from her successful business when she and her husband took their 8th grade daughter out of school to travel the world. After returning in 2019, Leyla stepped back to focus on family. Since then, in semi-retirement, she has worked with select clients, doing what she does best on a much smaller scale, yet still transacting market-defining sales.
